Jumping into a new culture on the other side of the world can be a big undertaking for a kid from a small town in Michigan, but living in South Korea for the past two years has fulfilled a dream I never knew I had.

I ate my way across the Korean Peninsula, hiked as much as my body would allow, visited 18 of the 23 national parks, and met some of the most kind and wonderful people this planet has to offer.

I will forever be grateful for the opportunity to share life with my Korean family, and I will most certainly be back!
