My Story

I live optimistically; there is always an opportunity to turn life into an adventure!

I was raised in Michigan by my incredible parents alongside my four siblings where I spent the majority of every summer Up North on the lake, running through the woods, and eating plenty of ice cream.  A well-placed Google search enticed me to enroll at Colorado State University in Fort Collins where I studied sociology in between a smattering of hiking, climbing, and absolute nonsense.  I permanently “borrowed” my dad’s camera during first year at college, which, along with my backpack, was the only proper hiking gear I owned.  I quickly realized that photography was the way I could discover the world, invoke emotion, and access my creative perspective.

I find inspiration every day from my faith in God, my family and true friends, and the endless thoughts running through my mind.

I am currently living life to its fullest in South Carolina while serving as an active duty member of the U.S. Air Force.
